Moyes Out ( Released )
Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore.
I'm fed up, we can do much better

"then has 4 full seasons of which 3 top half finishes"

Redknapp had four in five years, three consecutively (98,99,2000) on a fraction of the jock bastard's budget and the football was enjoyable to watch

Sums Moyes up really and his attitude to youth players and his obvious inability to coach and nurture them.

Casey and Earthy have probably been champing at the bit all season. yet Moyes gives them minutes in a dead rubber against a team going down. No pressure on him in that game.

I mean, fair play to him for giving them some minutes. But contrast that to Klopp at Liverpool - Who with serious injuries has introduced several key youth players this season who are now looking like PL players in their own right. And they played in big PL and cup games. We have had serious player resource issues this season and none of our youth players were anywhere to be seen.

Moyes disdain of the youth set up and his reluctance to have any faith in them in the big games is another thing that has cost him his job. And giving them some time against Luton, well, again fair play to him. But for me it was a bit like getting the Christmas decorations up on January 1st. All just seemed too little too late and a bit pointless. Our season was done and dusted weeks ago and none of us will ever know what our season could've been had Moyes taken some time to coach and nurture the youth players and use them correctly and efficiently when we needed them.

I know there are youth players at West Ham that are glad Moyes has gone so they can regain their hope of making it to the first team.

This won’t go away for a while.
Whoever is next faces a massive rebuilding process in terms of the squad and the style of play. People will come on here to score points about two successful seasons from 3 or 4 years back.

Bottom line is the 3/4 of the last two seasons hasn’t been good enough, and the approach to the game is outdated and unsustainable. That’s why he had to go.

How much longer is all this crap going to go on for?

I love the old ‘saved us from going down line’.

Amazing how you save a team that had never been in the bottom 3 by delivering the exact same number of points in the same number of games as the fella you took over from.

Wasn’t a decent chunk of that Alan Irvine filling in for him and doing well?

So it's 9th then
Comes in and saves us from going down, then has 4 full seasons of which 3 top half finishes, and in the one season finishing 14th we win a trophy, plus first time 3 seasons in Europe on trot
Seems pretty good record to me

But it seems being an armchair fan doesnt stop he she or they from understanding Moyes long list of limitations far better than someone who claims to go to games regularly... not sure what you are watching but its clearly not the football?!??

Shame

Do fuck off yourself.
He treats the fans, players and youth with disdain.
Earthy scoring shows this,he's had the opportunity all season to give him those minutes. Just think where we might be if we had a proactive manager who did. You know more than anyone how good some of the Youth team are yet you wish to deny it just like the fraud Moyes. We've had 3 years of him not using them and yet you cunt fail to see it time and time and again
.I hope you enjoy listening to Talkshite with his negative low block comments and then see whatever team he manages struggle against relegation in whatever division he goes to.

Re: Moyes Out ( Released )
He has gone, whichever side of the divide you were on it's over. I am glad to see the back of his dreary, rubbish football, disregard for youth and abuse of certain players. He will get all the support that the Moyes in brigade could wish for on Talkshite. I am looking forward, the bigger picture remains Sullivan and Brady who created the environment for the divisive twat to thrive.
That said the new manager, next years squad (yes, we might even have one) are far more worthy of discussion than the ex manager.

Re: Moyes Out ( Released )
Completely agree with 99% of folks on here, ok Moyes did his initial job of avoiding relegation but there was basically no general football improvement. Also all those experts saying BCWYWF, would they be happy if Moyes was suddenly managing City, Arsenal
, Spurs or Liverpool, so therefore why do we have to put up with dull boring football, if keeping possession, playing the press is good enough for Pep then it’s also good enough for us.

Lock a thread that is getting a lot of attention and posts, about a divisive West Ham manager, on a forum that is getting less and less traction in general?

Yeah, great idea.

I disagree.

His interviews and press conferences with his constant digs are proof of that.

But as you said, he is gone. Good. we can all move on.

Thats exactly how he treats the fans... if he didnt he wouldnt serve up that crap week in week out and then make out the fans need to get behind the team like its our fault the team are performing poorly...

Re: Moyes Out ( Released )
Just been told I was making “assumptions” for saying Moyes’s lack of faith and judgment had been exposed with the Downes loan. Was going to mention Benrahma and Kehrer as well but just gave up - the “expert” was clearly not interested that kind of fact.

He doesn’t treat us with disdain you bellend.

Fuck me you Moyes haters need to let it go, he is leaving.
